As part of its programme of events to mark the NI Centenary 2021, with support from Heritage Lottery’s Shared History Fund, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, in partnership with local award-winning theatre company, c21, are excited to present this reminiscence project.
The event takes place at the The Old Courthouse, Antrim, on Friday 18th March 2022 at 2pm and 7.30pm and includes the play ‘Generations Apart’ by Gary Wilson.
Over the last twelve months, the theatre company has worked with older generational groups throughout the Borough to capture their untold stories through the medium of film and workshops. The resulting content will be presented in the following formats:
- A short play entitled ‘Generations Apart‘ written by Gary Wilson.
- Spoken word poetry by Shelley Tracey, and performed by Anne McMaster
- A short film of the Project participants will be screened on the afternoon and evening of Friday 18th.
