As part of its programme of events to mark the NI Centenary, with support from Heritage Lottery’s Shared History Fund, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, in partnership with local award-winning theatre company, c21, are excited to present this reminiscence project.
The event takes place at the The Old Courthouse, Antrim, on Friday 18th March 2022 at 2pm and 7.30pm and includes the play ‘Generations Apart’ by Gary Wilson.
Over the last twelve months, the theatre company has worked with older generational groups throughout the Borough to capture their untold stories through the medium of film and workshops. The resulting content will be presented in the following formats:
- A short play entitled ‘Generations Apart‘ written by Gary Wilson.
- Spoken word poetry by Shelley Tracey, and performed by Anne McMaster
- A short film of the Project participants
Tickets are free and can be booked exclusively by the project participants by calling the Box Office on 0300 123 7788 (Sun-Sat 9-5pm) before Friday 18 February 2022, after which tickets will also be available to the public via the online Box Office at www.theoldcourthousetheatre.com where a map of the venue and directions can also be found.
